Cigarettes are as old as civilization itself. The tobacco cane tubes of the Aztecs, 16th Century cigarrillos of Spaniards and the 18th Century smokes of Portuguese and Italian Traders who took them to the Levant and Russia, all part of the legacy of the modern-day cigarette. The French troops in the Napoleonic Wars named these smokes as Cigarettes – as we know them today.
The illustrious journey of Sopariwala Exports began in pre-independence India circa 1927 in South Mumbai’s Jacob Circle. OUR INFRASTRUCTURE
The Premium Quality Products from Sopariwala Exports are manufactured in World-Class Infrastructure in India. Our FOUR state-of-the-art factories in Gujarat, India are spread over One Million sq. feet with an annual processing capacity of over 25,000 tons of tobacco.
We introduced the industry-first ‘Complete Re-drying Plant’, a fully automated processing and packaging line in India. Our Innovation, Infrastructure and Employees enable us to ship orders of any scale in a 15-day average time period.
OUR FARMS, FARMERS & EMPLOYEES
Our farms in Gujarat, India are spread over 500 Hectares and we cultivate a rich range of manufactured and un-manufactured Tobacco – Black Chopadia, Indian Calcutti, Lal Chopadia, Rustica, Isfahan, among others.
Our closely knit family of over 5000 farmers and more than 2000 employees is the bedrock of our Global Enterprise. We compensate farmers upfront on delivery of their produce, train them on the latest technical know-how and even help them with unsecured loans. Our approach makes us, Sopariwala Exports, the first choice of Farmers to sell their stock.
